What are the payment terms and methods?

We require payment in advance for each month of service. If you start in the middle of the month, the rest of the month is pro-rated. Payment may be made by wire, e-check, ACH, Venmo, Paypal, credit card, or BILL.

Do you offer any guarantees?

No. Often client infrastructure or personnel issues prevent results from being achieved as quickly as customers wanted. Clients need to manage their projects and personnel. A Fractional CFO cannot do your management job for you.

Is there a minimum term for the service?

The service is month-to-month. You may cancel at any time during the month. Cancellation will take effect at the end of the month.

Are there any hidden fees beyond the displayed cost?

You must maintain subscriptions to any services we jointly decide you need.

I can't afford it. Will you give me a discount?

Because we are able to offer services that others cannot, our services represent a compelling value. We are likely to increase our prices in the future. We would be happy to recommend some Fractional CFOs who might be a better fit.

What happens if I use more time than what I have paid for?

Peaks and troughs in demand are to be expected. However, if we are consistently allocating more time to your account than what you have paid for, we will ask you to upgrade to a higher level of service.

Don't you have a cheaper plan for startups?

We used to have a plan for startups. However, the plan did not offer the level of service that the startups wanted. So everyone was unhappy. In order for us to make a difference for you, we need to dedicate a half-day a week
